Hana Odeh is a Johnson Foundation Fellow in the lab. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Jordan University in 2008. She then received her Master’s, and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2012, and in 2018, respectively. Her PhD work focused on characterizing the regulation and function of the SUMO-specific isopeptidase SENP2. In 2018, Hana was awarded an AstraZeneca Post-Doctoral Fellowship. In 2021, Hana won an Alzheimer’s Association Research Fellowship. In 2021, Hana also won the Ruth Keris Award for Departmental and Graduate Group Service. In 2023, Hana became a Johnson Foundation Fellow.
